Good bye August.

I am so glad that August is over! I loved August but WOW was it busy.  I am very excited for Fall to come and to have some slower days ahead. Here are some highlights from the last week of this crazy month.

1. Just a Regular Disney Prince
For my number one this week I am going to give you a little dialogue.
Dalan (coming into the house): Timari! Do you want a new pet?
Me (in another room): Is it scary??
   Dalan: No.
Me (walking into the room): WHAT?! Did you catch him?
Dalan: Yeah. He came and landed by me so I caught him.
   Me: What? Really?

Yes, really. Dalan just caught a bird. The bird was completely content with it too. He let Dalan pet his head and when Dalan let him go he just gracefully flew away to check things off his bird to do list. This just makes me smile. When does this happen? Dalan is just that cool.

2. This was my first full week of middle school! It was a fun week. I have been able to get to know the students a little more and I am enjoying myself.

3. My family came to visit this week! It was fun to show them Murphy and Murphy loved having visitors.

4. We were able to go to the Temple! We walked through the Brigham Temple Open house with Dalan's family. It was fun to finally go with Dalan!

5. Dalan's Birthday! Dalan is now 27! We had a really good day together. I rode in the truck with Dalan for a while. I made him a cake, and we went to Logan for dinner. It was a fun day. I am so grateful for him.

Happy September.

Howdy.

Howdy Blog World. I just had to jump on and share. This is my project from DIY Crafts in Tree Town that I mentioned yesterday. I LOVE it!
And this picture just makes me smile. Never has my sign Buckaroos Lose Yer Shoes meant so much. This is Dalan on Lucky, or Luckily as we call him.

Just a normal day.

These are a Few . . .

That's right friends. I actually am continuing this favorite things thing for another week! Let's all take a second to appreciate the fact that is lasting! I have a terrible track record. Something about thinking about my favorite things is just so much fun!

1. Lunch Dates with Friends. This summer I have been on a roll! I have totally taken the initiative this summer to go on lunch dates with any friends that I haven't seen/don't see/just missing. It is so great! I am going to be taking this on as my new role. I really love getting together for lunch and catching up. Shout out to Chelsi, Brittany, Aubree, Tressia & Ashli! Unfortunately I don't have any photo proof of these :( But it is always nice to have some girl time.

2. New Swimsuit! Friday I began my search for a swim suit for the Bingham Bear Lake Vaca. and . . . .drumroll please . . . . I found one!! I love it. It has a very nautical theme to it and what doesn't scream summer better than that!

3. Dalan Rees. Dalan agreed to go back to Logan with me Friday because instead of buying this swimsuit I put it on hold so that I could have his opinion on it. And his opinion meant the world. He is the greatest.
4. Christmas in July! I bought some ornaments for our cute tree!

5. I got my diploma! After we paid $1.21 to the post office . . . really USU? After the thousands of dollars I have given you. No respect. But I'm over it. I will always be an Aggie fan regardless of the $1.21. It was nice to see that paper and know that I accomplished what I set out to do and that I don't have homework tonight ;)

Dalan Rees

The fourth was so much fun, but mostly because I was able to have Dalan to myself for a WHOLE day! Awesome, right?! That doesn't even happen on Sundays! Here is our three picture run to get the perfect 4th of July waiting for the parade to start shot. . . .

Tongue out from Dalan and a big head from me . . . .

Perfect picture of Dalan and a  HUGE head from me, bummer . . .

And the final shot!

Dalan is just so fun to be around! I am the luckiest girl. We had such a fun week together. We went to the movies, had pizza and Root Beer Floats Saturday and had our first ma & pa meeting Sunday, which we ended by watching 17 Miracles. I can't wait for him to get back from Idaho today!

Be warned. Super Long Post.

I am going to start something here on my blog. It is going to be a little list of my favorite things from this week, month, day what ever I decide. Overall, I think it will help me to be myself. As a little insight into me, I am not good at letting everyone see what I am thinking, feeling ect. I like to put fences up, believe it or not I  like to live a really private life. Sometimes that means that I don't let people in on what is going on. I don't want everyone to know what goes on. This blog is a way for me to show you without really showing you. It's kind of like cheating. And I bet you didn't realize that a little list of my favorite things could be so serious :) So here is to letting me show you more about myself and I will just pretend that I am writing to Dalan. However, if I was he would already know these things. He is sooo easy for me to be around and I love him for that.

Let's Begin. My favorite thing to watch: The Bachelorette!

I don't care what you think. I know this is a silly show, but I seriously get excited to watch it! This season Emily is such a sweetheart. She reminds me that I want to live in the South. Currently I am thinking Texas or Tennessee :)

My favorite songs:

1. Call Me Maybe. Yep. I jumped onto that bandwagon too. But it is so dang catchy! And I love this video the best, although the others offer some great dance moves.

2. Pontoon by Little Big Town. They have always been awesome in my book! Party in Slow Motion. Summer is such a fun time of the year! One day we will have a boat, it may not be until we are like 80, but it will come ;) and P.s. I know this song talks about a pontoon, but close enough. I like pontoons too. In fact one time Dalan and I went out on his friend's pontoon & it was a blast!

3. Somethin 'bout a Truck by Kip Moore. Face it. There is something about a truck.

Next up. Falsies. Love this mascara! I always get excited when I get to buy a new bottle!

Red, White & Blue Mini Cheesecakes!  These are just great! They are delicious and easy to make. and very refreshing :) Plus people will think you spent way longer slaving away in the kitchen than you actually did.

And I will make this my last one because this blog post somehow got really long.

My Wall! I have had this wall ready for ever! We finally had time to put it all up last week and I love it. I love decorating and I am excited that things are coming together. What room is next?

Ok. I lied. Now, I have one last thing. I promise. If you are still reading, way to go!

My favorite date night this week was riding horses with Dalan. It was so much fun, so relaxing and romantic. Plus, I am getting more and more comfortable with every ride.

Thank you cowboy, for the ride <3

Nebraska Bound Again

This month has been so full. We have definitely hit the busy summer months. But it's not so bad, I have loved going with Dalan on our little adventures.
Here we are headed with a load of cows towards Nebraska. This picture was taken somewhere in Utah . . . who really know where we were at this point. Wednesday we drove to the auction and slept in their lot so we could load first thing Thursday morning. Thursday was a huge day of driving. Friday we started trucking home and made it back by 8:30.Not too shabby. We were both so glad to sleep in our own bed and to get a full nights rest.

There are so many tunnels! They were cool, but also kinda eerie in the huge truck. This was our second trip to Nebraska and it was not as rushed as the first one was. That was both a good and bad thing. After a while in the semi you just want to go home and snuggle on the couch.

It was fun to reminisce as we passed the Sydney exit, the way to our first home and lots of good friends that we haven't seen in too long. It made me sad to know we had no time to stop. I miss Nebraska!
And of course the handsome driver! Dalan is just amazing. It has been fun to go truckin' and talk about the world with my best friend.

and P.s. my stomach is getting stronger and stronger. I didn't even get sick this time!

My Morning

I jumped outside with my new lens this morning to sneak photos of the boys gathering a few of the cattle in the pasture. This lens is so great! I am standing on my porch looking innocent while the boys don't even know I am snapping a thousand pictures!
My family bought me this lens for my birthday and I was so surprised! I seriously love it and it iis finally getting the attention it deserves!
I wasn't the only one watching the show. It was quite the party at my house. We were only short a couple dogs and a cat (& of course lots of nieces and nephews).
All three of the boys in one shot. I need to get more pictures of the three of them working together. One day they will want those!

And let's add another dog to the party.
Little did the boys know we were all having fun watching them work. Even the little lambies were entertained.

But we were all on our best behavior and we didn't make too much noise.

And Pepper made sure to keep the lambs in line, together, and herded in the right direction. Sometimes that is good and other times it is not . . .

So that is the excitement around my house today.

Summer Time

In Honeyville I have been seeing things get much prettier. I just love summer! Everything seems to come alive. We get to be outside, stay out late, wake up early, listen to summer music, drive in big trucks with the windows down and my two favorite holidays, The fourth of July & the Fairs and Rodeos. and Yes, the fair and rodeo are a holiday.
The Steers in the pens and the pasture seem to have a kick in there step. Plus they look so pretty in the pasture and out of the pens!
Look at all of the Ladybugs on this tractor! I love it.
Can you spot the Killdeer eggs?
Here is a deer prancing through the field behind my house.
And of course another steer, because let's be honest that is mostly what I have been seeing in Honeyville.

Yeah for summer & snow cones & watermelon & BBQ's.

Good Morning World.

Good Morning. This morning I have been eating cereal and doing yoga while watching Dancing with the Stars final season. I know. It's a hard life over here in the Bingham house. I'm not complaining :) But soon I will be outside helping Dalan with the cattle and my hair won't look so good anymore and I will wish I had eaten more cereal.

Lately I have been applying for jobs and I have been hanging out with the Young Women in the ward. I was in charge of the activity last night and it was a good turn out. I made 8 dozen cookies and they were a hit. Plus we got done a little early/on time and I hit the freeway to go watch Dalan play in his softball game. It was so fun. I wish I could go to all of his games. They are my favorite. Summer is here and I love it.

Rock!

Have a good day all.
