That's right friends. I actually am continuing this favorite things thing for another week! Let's all take a second to appreciate the fact that is lasting! I have a terrible track record. Something about thinking about my favorite things is just so much fun!
1. Lunch Dates with Friends. This summer I have been on a roll! I have totally taken the initiative this summer to go on lunch dates with any friends that I haven't seen/don't see/just missing. It is so great! I am going to be taking this on as my new role. I really love getting together for lunch and catching up. Shout out to Chelsi, Brittany, Aubree, Tressia & Ashli! Unfortunately I don't have any photo proof of these :( But it is always nice to have some girl time.
2. New Swimsuit! Friday I began my search for a swim suit for the Bingham Bear Lake Vaca. and . . . .drumroll please . . . . I found one!! I love it. It has a very nautical theme to it and what doesn't scream summer better than that!
3. Dalan Rees. Dalan agreed to go back to Logan with me Friday because instead of buying this swimsuit I put it on hold so that I could have his opinion on it. And his opinion meant the world. He is the greatest.
4. Christmas in July! I bought some ornaments for our cute tree!
5. I got my diploma! After we paid $1.21 to the post office . . . really USU? After the thousands of dollars I have given you. No respect. But I'm over it. I will always be an Aggie fan regardless of the $1.21. It was nice to see that paper and know that I accomplished what I set out to do and that I don't have homework tonight ;)

Mute
There is something many of you already know about me. I am not very good with stress. I get stressed out easily, but as long as it is just a couple stressors in my way I can usually handle it and get through it with the help of my dear and patient hubby. I think I stress easily because I over think just about every aspect of my life, to every excruciating & often pointless detail. So to bring you to something that you may not know, and probably don't care to know is the fact that when the stress builds up and becomes more than I can handle I spend a night of sleeping biting my cheek over and over again for hours. It doesn't wake me up, I just wake up in the morning to the consequences and have to deal with it for weeks after. In the past I have gone to the dentist and received antibiotics. But I did it again! I did this to myself Wednesday night before my very last final and it has gotten progressively worse as the weak passes on. Today I have been a mute. I can't talk, and when I do I end up in tears as each movement of my mouth makes the gash grow larger and larger and the pain stings the inside of my mouth. I have been using hand motions and gestures to talk to Dalan and it has been pretty successful but terribly boring. I am thinking that this is a little ridiculous, I have managed to eat a little yogurt and I am hoping that this gets better as it gets worse. Because I am not good at being a mute I needed to blog about it, I need to talk! So here is my little story about how I am a big stress ball sometimes. Also . . .if you saw me or my pictures from graduation please know that my cheek and neck were swollen. . . I tried to ignore it but there are many pictures that kinda scream it . . . lovely, lucky me.
Graduation Day!
Graduation Day was a huge success! There were so many people who came to support me & show their love for me and Dalan. So first of all, THANK YOU!! to everyone!
Here is my good friend Aubree and I. She is such a great lady and will be an amazing Speech Language Pathologist!
Of course, my mom and dad. They are just the best, and it was so fun to see the whole family!
Here is a small group of the girls that I have spent two years learning, laughing and studying with. I will miss them.
The lovely girls of the family!
Here are my glittery shoes and my glittery cap . . .
My Grandma Dorene & Papa. They are so great! Thanks for coming and supporting me!
Girls again!
Me and my mom
My whole family!
My Aunt Sissy, who took all of these pictures for me, and my cousins, Ryan & Emalee. They are awesome! (We missed you Uncle Bill!)
Me and Dalan! He is the best and has really helped me to get through this last year of school.
He even held my purse and my hand as I walked miles in these heels.
Sorry, I accidentally picked a blurry one . . . but it will take forever to change it now. Here I am! I graduated!
Here are me and my aunt Amy and my cousin Morgana!
A line of us girls waiting to graduate! These girls are AWESOME!
Me and my Utah State sister, Kelsey! I have loved visiting with Kelsey this year in Logan! It is so nice to have family close.
The Brothers!
Do you see the glittery lined cap? That is me!
Ok, I am so sorry for all of these pictures. This is getting ridiculous . . . but it is my blog so . . . I am not filtering any of these out.
And lastly, here is me with the cover for my diploma! Crazy, crazy times. I am happy to say that I graduated Cum-Laude and as a Service Learning Scholar.
P.S. Dalan's Family was there to support too! I just don't have any of those pictures :)
Thanks everyone for the support, the love and the memories.
I love you guys.
Introducing . . .
My other blog! I have been hesitant to introduce this blog because it is my portfolio for Service Learning Scholars. However, I realized that as most of you know that I am doing Service Learning Scholars at Utah State and that I am constantly running around to the service opportunities that I love, you probably don't know what I am doing. I don't keep it to myself to keep it to myself, I just usually don't want to bother everyone by talking about myself. So . . . here it goes . . . here is the link to what I have been doing for the past year and what a lot of my work and my time has gone to! It isn't perfect . . . but enjoy!
forgetyourself.blogspot.com
It is called Do unto Others and the site name is Forget Yourself. I think that both of these titles describe service and what can happen if you fully dive into serving others. Although there are days that service barely fits in I can feel the difference that it makes in my life. I go to help others but in turn they are helping me to be a stronger and better person.
So . . . get motivated & find somewhere to serve your community! There are lots of options that you can find through my blog if you need ideas!

P.S. I have 30 hours to go to reach my goal of 400 hours :)
