Saturdays

Saturday is for sleeping in, Special Olympics, cleaning, and crafting. Today I started painting our wall!! And as I wait for the paint to dry I am making some adorable cards for a few of the great people in my life.

This card is for my little sister Jalia. (Jailia, if you are reading this, DO NOT scroll down until Monday) I just love it, so I had to share. I looked at a few pictures of owls online and mimicked them.

I added the buttons instead of googly eyes, some twine to replace the paper grass and I used scrap fabric for the heart.

This card I made for Dalan for our 2nd anniversary! I can't believe that it has been 2 years. I really wanted to make a card that would be more manly and fess frilly and mushy for Dal.

If any of you watch "How I Met Your Mother" then you will totally get this card, if not well you should start watching it because it is one of our favorite shows!

Making us Smile

So, maybe you are tired of hearing about our cute puppy, but the truth is I am not tired of playing with the cute little guy. I had to share some videos of what is making us laugh these days.

This video shows off our little guard dog. He barks when I open the door, when I pull into the drive way, anytime really. It is cute now with his small puppy bark, but I sure hope he doesn't bark forever.


And this little video demonstrates his cute, waddly run. I just love it. Today, puppy, Pepper and I made several circles around the house running and playing. It feels like a spring day!

What would we do without our Pepper! She makes us so happy!
