It's been 2 years?

What? I cannot believe that this picture was from 2 years ago . . . time flies. This was taken at a football game my first semester at Utah State. ha ha too funny.

I'll keep this post short because I need to tidy up the house, and get ready for the big day. Dalan's family has a tradition that they do on Christmas Eve, they go to dinner and then we all go bowling :) It should be a very fun time.

Merry Christmas :)

Easy easy

So. My favorite picture of my best friend. . . Easy. There are tons. We'll start here. I like the one above, which is obvious because I used it just the other day. . . sorry for a repeat.

This one is cool too. It was taken on our honeymoon.
I wasn't actually there for this picture. but it reminds me that we should go rock climbing soon.
This one is good too :) counting. counting. counting.
And lots of girls thought this was cute when he had it as his facebook page ;) I agree.
On our great wedding day.
The day Dalan proposed.
And this one too. . . there are more pictures I could use, and maybe I will share them another day. I am sure Dalan will love this post, full of pictures of him :) I haven't let him see it yet. I like it :)

Day 3

The perfect first date. I'm not sure what to do for this post because my first date days are happily over.

On our first date Dalan took me to Costa Vida, the local "zoo" and then for a scroll around the park. He obviously did something right and is therefore classified as a perfect first date :) It was a lot of fun. I remember when he called to ask me out and when he pretended that he hadn't planned our date and I wondered what he had been thinking about all day and the way we were able to talk and laugh.

Today Dalan took off work early and we went to the Logan Temple. It was so so nice. The last time we went was before we lived in Nebraska and it was very nice to be back. It reminded me of the day we were married, but not as cold :) It's been just about 11 months now . . . almost a year :) It has been such a good year. I am so grateful for Dalan and all that he does for me and I love him very very much. He is the best husband anyone could ask for, I am one very lucky girl.

Day 2

I may have cheated when I started to write this yesterday on day 1 . . . oops. I just get anxious.

For day 2 I am going to showing you something I ate today. Which is great because I just tried this amazing recipe for Burnt Sugar Almonds when we were invited to a couples Christmas Party and they turned out great. I have already taken a few pictures of my new treat and am ready to go. Dalan and I have been snacking on them way too much and now I should get on the ball and make some for various Christmas gifts. ( I know that I said I would do that yesterday . . . but I am easily distracted. I found these cute Christmas jokes, printed them out and stuck them on all of Dalan's presents with the answer inside. ) That was a lot for a parenthesis, sorry. I'm not going back.

Only 5 days til Christmas!! So exiting.

After we went grocery shopping last night and Dalan was beyond starving we decided that the fastest thing to make was Dominos. While we waited for them to make our dinner we drove around looking at Christmas lights. It was so fun and so pretty. It made it feel a little more like Christmas to the both of us.

Tell me your favorite Christmas traditions! I'd love to hear, maybe we'll even adopt yours as a new tradition for years to come :)

Merry Christmas!
