Nebraska Bound Again

This month has been so full. We have definitely hit the busy summer months. But it's not so bad, I have loved going with Dalan on our little adventures.
Here we are headed with a load of cows towards Nebraska. This picture was taken somewhere in Utah . . . who really know where we were at this point. Wednesday we drove to the auction and slept in their lot so we could load first thing Thursday morning. Thursday was a huge day of driving. Friday we started trucking home and made it back by 8:30.Not too shabby. We were both so glad to sleep in our own bed and to get a full nights rest.

There are so many tunnels! They were cool, but also kinda eerie in the huge truck. This was our second trip to Nebraska and it was not as rushed as the first one was. That was both a good and bad thing. After a while in the semi you just want to go home and snuggle on the couch.

It was fun to reminisce as we passed the Sydney exit, the way to our first home and lots of good friends that we haven't seen in too long. It made me sad to know we had no time to stop. I miss Nebraska!
And of course the handsome driver! Dalan is just amazing. It has been fun to go truckin' and talk about the world with my best friend.

and P.s. my stomach is getting stronger and stronger. I didn't even get sick this time!

My Morning

I jumped outside with my new lens this morning to sneak photos of the boys gathering a few of the cattle in the pasture. This lens is so great! I am standing on my porch looking innocent while the boys don't even know I am snapping a thousand pictures!
My family bought me this lens for my birthday and I was so surprised! I seriously love it and it iis finally getting the attention it deserves!
I wasn't the only one watching the show. It was quite the party at my house. We were only short a couple dogs and a cat (& of course lots of nieces and nephews).
All three of the boys in one shot. I need to get more pictures of the three of them working together. One day they will want those!

And let's add another dog to the party.
Little did the boys know we were all having fun watching them work. Even the little lambies were entertained.

But we were all on our best behavior and we didn't make too much noise.

And Pepper made sure to keep the lambs in line, together, and herded in the right direction. Sometimes that is good and other times it is not . . .

So that is the excitement around my house today.

Summer Time

In Honeyville I have been seeing things get much prettier. I just love summer! Everything seems to come alive. We get to be outside, stay out late, wake up early, listen to summer music, drive in big trucks with the windows down and my two favorite holidays, The fourth of July & the Fairs and Rodeos. and Yes, the fair and rodeo are a holiday.
The Steers in the pens and the pasture seem to have a kick in there step. Plus they look so pretty in the pasture and out of the pens!
Look at all of the Ladybugs on this tractor! I love it.
Can you spot the Killdeer eggs?
Here is a deer prancing through the field behind my house.
And of course another steer, because let's be honest that is mostly what I have been seeing in Honeyville.

Yeah for summer & snow cones & watermelon & BBQ's.

Good Morning World.

Good Morning. This morning I have been eating cereal and doing yoga while watching Dancing with the Stars final season. I know. It's a hard life over here in the Bingham house. I'm not complaining :) But soon I will be outside helping Dalan with the cattle and my hair won't look so good anymore and I will wish I had eaten more cereal.

Lately I have been applying for jobs and I have been hanging out with the Young Women in the ward. I was in charge of the activity last night and it was a good turn out. I made 8 dozen cookies and they were a hit. Plus we got done a little early/on time and I hit the freeway to go watch Dalan play in his softball game. It was so fun. I wish I could go to all of his games. They are my favorite. Summer is here and I love it.

Rock!

Have a good day all.

Graduated Life.

The common question lately is, "What are you doing now that you are done with school?" And to answer that question on the mark of one week free from school and homework I want to answer that question.
  1. I have read a book. A real book! It was so nice to have a nice and relaxing book to read that I wasn't going to be tested on in the future. And I was able to read it on my new Kindle Fire that my awesome family got me as a graduation present! I would give anyone the recommendation to read this book. It's called, "Heaven is Here" by Stephanie Nielsen. It is a story of her life, her trials, and her faith. I cried through almost the whole book, both happy and sad tears. She helps me do hard things.
  2. I have explored my Kindle Fire and the world of apps! It is so fun to see what everyone has been talking about on all of their smart gadgets :) I am loving it. I use it for everything now!
  3. I was able to go trucking with Dalan on Tuesday. It was so fun to ride with him and have time to sit and talk about life.
  4. I have kept up on laundry, dishes, and cleaning around the house and I LOVE it!
  5. I have been crafting away and hopefully I will be able to finish all of the projects that I have created this last semester!
  6. We were able to watch a movie together! We watched "We bought a Zoo" and it was super cute.
  7. My mouth is healing!
  8. I was able to plan a Bridal shower for my sweet friend Brittany! The Bridal Shower was Friday. It was fun to hang out with the girls and hear all about Brittany's love story.
  9.  I have made real dinners! I love being a wife to Dalan.
  10.  I don't have to fuel up nearly as much . . . I am loving not driving to Logan as often!
  11. I have been able to catch up on all the the Young Women's stuff that have been piling up! We have a busy, busy summer planned for these girls :)
  12. I have made tons of chocolate chip cookies.
  13. I was able to go to mutual minus all of the stress from school and studying.
  14. I watched a helicopter land in the church parking lot.
  15. I am looking for my next book to read! Let me know of any good ones :)
  16. Applied to a couple of jobs.
  17. I am able to finally relax. Life is good.

Mute

There is something many of you already know about me. I am not very good with stress. I get stressed out easily, but as long as it is just a couple stressors in my way I can usually handle it and get through it with the help of my dear and patient hubby. I think I stress easily because I over think just about every aspect of my life, to every excruciating & often pointless detail. So to bring you to something that you may not know, and probably don't care to know is the fact that when the stress builds up and becomes more than I can handle I spend a night of sleeping biting my cheek over and over again for hours. It doesn't wake me up, I just wake up in the morning to the consequences and have to deal with it for weeks after. In the past I have gone to the dentist and received antibiotics. But I did it again! I did this to myself Wednesday night before my very last final and it has gotten progressively worse as the weak passes on. Today I have been a mute. I can't talk, and when I do I end up in tears as each movement of my mouth makes the gash grow larger and larger and the pain stings the inside of my mouth. I have been using hand motions and gestures to talk to Dalan and it has been pretty successful but terribly boring. I am thinking that this is a little ridiculous, I have managed to eat a little yogurt and I am hoping that this gets better as it gets worse. Because I am not good at being a mute I needed to blog about it, I need to talk! So here is my little story about how I am a big stress ball sometimes. Also . . .if you saw me or my pictures from graduation please know that my cheek and neck were swollen. . . I tried to ignore it but there are many pictures that kinda scream it . . . lovely, lucky me.

Graduation Day!

Graduation Day was a huge success! There were so many people who came to support me & show their love for me and Dalan. So first of all, THANK YOU!! to everyone!

I have one more final to complete.
Life is crazy.
That is all.
See you Saturday! Let's Party!

Walk for MS 2012

All of these pictures are courtesy of Carlie Tams & Cami Pugsley :) They were taken this last Saturday as we all were able to walk for our friend Cami to help support & fight MS.

There were so many people at the Gateway. And it was so much fun to be with such great friends. These girls are so sweet.

To the left is Carlie and I and on the right is Cami and her little girl Blaikley. Cami is one of the nicest, most inviting and amazing women. She has made me feel so welcome into their group of friends and she is truly someone to emulate and look to. I am so lucky to have her as a friend and I am so happy that I could do something, as small as it was, to support her.

Jency made these great shirts for us to all wear, it was so nice of her! Cami's Cowpunchers kicking MS in the butt & dragging it to the fire!
So here is to a tradition that will last forever.

Thanks for being such great friends to me girls!
You mean the world to me!
